Again taken with a 400mm DO plus a 1.4 converter. Some noise because of the light conditions. ISO 400 @ f8.0 (which unusual for me, I normally shot at f5.6 to get the most light and keep the background as blurred as possible)
After posting a Grey Heron, common in the United Kingdom (and most of Europe), I thought I’d post a Purple Heron, this was taken in Spain, these birds are equally common in Southern Europe and a rare visitor to Southern and South Eastern England
With the construction of the new “Crossrail” it would be impossible to get this shot right now. Taken wide at 23mm, converted to black and white then used a colour layer of the original image for the bus.
An opportunist shot from a viewing point on a tripod, 500mm with a 1.4 converter as fast as ISO 400 would allow. Some crop and shift to get it where I wanted it in the frame.
Two more exhibits for the gallery. “Batsman Walks” is on Fine Art paper and “Mustang Pilot” is a Black and White image printed on Titanium paper, both are framed.
